Passenger bus catches fire on Muscat-Nizwa road

Muscat: A passenger bus has caught fire and is engulfed in flames on the Muscat - Nizwa road according to the Royal Oman Police.

The authorities have revealed that no passengers were injured in the fire.

In a statement online, the ROP said: "A passenger bus on the Muscat-Nizwa road is on fire, located in the area of Al Houb in Wilayat Samail. All passengers on board are safe."

The Royal Oman Police has advised the public to regularly check their vehicles and to avoid keeping flammable materials inside the vehicle.
