Scattered rainfall forecast in parts of Oman

Muscat: Currently, clouds are flowing over coastal areas of the Oman Sea, with chances of scattered rain, Oman Meteorology announced.

The weather forecast issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) indicates that the Sultanate of Oman will experience clear skies across all governorates, with cloud formation expected specifically over the Oman Sea. There are chances of scattered rain showers in these coastal areas.

Residents along the coastal areas of the Oman Sea should be aware of dust and sand being carried by the wind. This may lead to reduced horizontal visibility over the coming period.

The CAA also highlighted the potential for low clouds or fog patches during the late night and early morning hours in parts of South Al Sharqiyah governorate. This could further reduce visibility, creating additional challenges for motorists.
