Muscat: Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion received on Monday Dr. Mohamed Maliki Osman, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, Second Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Second Minister for Education of the Republic of Singapore and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting comes withint the framework of marking the 40th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Oman and Singapore.
During the meeting, the tow sides explored cooperation opportunities in various fields.
Moreover, the Singaporean delegation highlighted their country’s prominent experience in developing the business environment and the importance of that in attracting foreign investments.
The Omani side showcased the economic national programmes that are related to Oman Vision 2040 and prominent sector which Oman seeks to boost.
Both sides underscored the importance of pressing ahead in promoting bilateral relations.
The meeting was attended by the Chargé d’Affaires of Singapore’s embassy in Oman and several officials from both sides.
