Official holiday announced for ROP personnel

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced that Thursday, January 9, 2025, will be an official holiday for its employees.

In an official announcement, the ROP's Department of Public Relations and Security Media informed citizens and residents that this holiday applies to ROP personnel operating under the official working hours system. The holiday commemorates the annual Police Day.

ROP said in an announcement: “The Department of Public Relations and Security Media at Royal Oman Police announces to citizens and residents that Thursday, January 9, 2025, will be an official holiday for employees of the Royal Oman Police formations that operate under the official working hours system, on the occasion of the annual Police Day.”
