North Al Batinah unveils expansive 35,000 sqm Shinas Marine Park

Muscat: North Al Batinah Municipality has completed the development of Shinas Marine Park in the Wilayat of Shinas. This project forms part of wider development initiatives aimed at providing recreational spaces for residents and visitors. Engineer Alia bint Salah Al-Attar of the Projects Department at North Al Batinah Municipality, who oversaw the project, stated that Shinas Marine Park is a significant addition to the tourism and recreational infrastructure of the Wilayat.

The park covers approximately 35,250 square metres and includes various public facilities, with green spaces spanning 4,686 square metres, contributing to environmental improvement and providing ample open space for visitors.

The park also features a dedicated playground, several cafés and commercial kiosks, and public parking. Engineer Al-Attar added that the project offers investment opportunities for young people and small and medium-sized enterprise owners in the Wilayat, with 10 different sites available within the park. These include five commercial kiosks, a café offering various visitor services, two areas for electric games, and two beachside areas for water games.

Shinas Marine Park is expected to enhance tourism and recreational diversity both in the Wilayat of Shinas and the broader North Al Batinah Governorate.
