Al Hamra: Al Hoota Cave in the Wilayat of Al Hamra, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, witnessed a footfall of over 43,000 visitors in 2024 following the introduction of electric car service inside the cave and the hanging rope service.
Shams bin Abdullah Al Hattali, a tour guide at Al Hoota Cave, spoke on the recently added electric car and the hanging rope services for adventure lovers.
He said that the cave extends for five kilometres and has two entrances, the first at Al Hoy village and the other entrance prepared for reception of visitors which offers the visitors a tour of 500 metres.
Salman Al Subhi, incharge of the Geological Exhibition at the cave, said that the exhibition provides visitors an idea about the unique geological nature of the area and the impact of water on the formation of the cave and its formations.
