Omani-Saudi joint military exercise “Solidarity 1” concludes

Riyadh: The Omani-Saudi Joint Military Exercise “Solidarity 1” concluded in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) today.

The drill saw the participation of a force from Oman Coast Regiment of the 23rd Infantry Brigade, Royal Army of Oman (RAO), and a force from the 2nd regiment of the 20th Brigade of the Royal Land Forces of the KSA.

Implementation of the drill was part of a training plan adopted by the RAO to maintain a high level of performance and the combat ability of its units. It was also in pursuance of an annual training programme implemented in cooperation with GCC, Arab and friendly countries to serve the overall national objectives.
