Doha: The Omani-Qatari Joint Committee on Thursday held its 23rd session in Doha. The meeting dealt with aspects of cooperation in different fields, including economy, trade and investment.
The Omani side was headed by Sultan Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, while Ali Ahmed Al Kuwari, Minister of Finance of the State of Qatar, headed his country’s side.
The joint committee discussed means of upgrading cooperation between the two sides in the fields of tourism, investment, industry, culture, agriculture, banking, sports, education, labour, environment, transport and other sectors. It was also agreed to follow up joint investment projects more closely.
