OIFC donates equipment for elderly Dhofar citizens

Muscat: Oman Investment and Finance Co. SAOG (OIFC) in cooperation with the Omani Association for Elderly Friends donated medical equipment to be used by the elderly citizens in the Dhofar governorate.
This contribution was made as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and continuous support that OIFC undertakes throughout the Sultanate.
OIFC’s contribution included medical equipment, such as blood pressure and glucose monitoring devices, as well as medical mattresses and wheelchairs for use by senior citizens in their day-to-day lives.
“Senior citizens are like parents for all of us, and our presence here today is the expression of our gratitude and appreciation towards their contributions to society,” said the Chief Executive Officer of OIFC, Said Ahmed Safrar.
Further, Salwa Al Yafi’e, head of the Omani Association for Elderly Friends, added, “It is part of our core objectives to support this segment of senior citizens in the Governorate of Dhofar and many other governorates in Oman. Today, I would like to express my great appreciation towards OIFC’s initiative to support us in our mission”.
The contributions were presented by Sameeh Rajab Suwailem, executive at the OIFC Salalah branch.
