Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has paid a blessed visit to Sultan Faisal bin Turki School in the Wilayat of Amerat in the Governorate of Muscat to closely monitor the progress of the educational process and the modern programmes implemented to enrich the cognitive and perceptual aspects of school students.
His Majesty the Sultan was warmly welcomed upon his arrival at the school by Her Excellency the Minister of Education and other ministry officials. The school’s scout group greeted His Majesty with enthusiastic chants, followed by a student’s recitation of a welcoming poem.
A student provided His Majesty with a brief overview of the school, and His Majesty proceeded to tour the various departments and facilities. He observed classes in progress, visiting classrooms, learning centers, and laboratories.
His Majesty also toured an exhibition showcasing the students’ projects in financial culture, entrepreneurship, vocational and technical education, and artificial intelligence.
Subsequently, His Majesty attended a workshop in the Fine Arts Hall and observed a sports class. He then met with a group of educators and students from Muscat Governorate to discuss their initiatives, achievements, and educational aspirations.
To conclude the visit, His Majesty delivered a speech to the attendees.
