Muscat: The Medical City Hospital for the military and security services enhances health security and places the Sultanate of Oman among advanced countries, said the Minister of Health.
The opening of the Medical City Hospital for the military and security services comes to achieve a strategic importance that lies in the integration between all health institutions with all their military, security and civil branches and their cooperation in order to achieve their supreme goal embodied in health security, this is what His Excellency Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, stressed.
His Excellency said that this medical edifice is an important part and a main axis of the national security axes, explaining that such achievements and projects established on solid foundations place the Sultanate of Oman among the ranks of developed countries in the field of efficiency and quality of health services, and achieve health diplomacy for it.
Al Sabti added that the Sultanate of Oman is proceeding on the path of health development and modernization, taking the inevitability that the Omani citizen is the main axis of development and its objectives.
His Excellency explained that the Medical City for Military and Security Services constitutes a wide space that includes an elite and competent group of human resources specialised in the health field. This edifice will provide more opportunities to attract, employ and train national cadres, and will be a stimulating environment for education, research and health studies, in addition to the essential and important role in providing health care and medical services to members of the military and security services and their families, which contributes to achieving integration and cooperation in order to improve health services in the Sultanate of Oman.
