Muscat: The Health Sector’s Recruitment Governance Committee on Tuesday held a meeting during which it reviewed proposed mechanisms to upgrade Omanisation indicators in the sector.
The committee also discussed the role of "Tawteen" (localisation) platform in achieving employment goals in the sector.
Held at Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB), the meeting was chaired by Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al Ajmi, OMSB Executive President, Chairperson of the Health Sector Recruitment Governance Committee.
During the meeting, the committee approved the announcement of 16 jobs for Omani dentists in the government sector.
The committee stressed the need to endorse a mechanism for activating self-employment in various areas of the health sector.
