Nama Group organises lean management programme

Muscat: Nama Group organised the Lean management ceremony in recognition of the efforts of its employees.
The event was held in the presence of Eng. Omar Al Wahaibi, Group CEO, and Eng. Abdullah Al Badri, Chairman of Numo Institute for Competency Development (NICD), member of Nama Group, along with its subsidiaries’ CEOs, other key officials and executive management at the group.
The ceremony concludes the first stage of the Lean programme, a business excellence model that includes training and coaching on Lean methodology at all levels across the group companies. The project is a group-wide initiative that aims to streamline processes and reduce waste at the workplace to ensure business efficiency.
The event, held in Hurmuz Grand Hotel, Muscat, included presentations on Lean Management, highlighting the project’s progress and phases in addition to an exhibition showcasing the completed projects. The event also presented key achievements of more than 156 employees have been trained on Lean programme across the Group, and58 improvement processes have been identified with 28 of these processes were delivered and implemented.
