Gaza: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) targeted various areas across the Gaza Strip with a series of heavy bombardment and artillery shelling since dawn on Wednesday, murdering and injuring dozens of Palestinians, including children.
Local and health sources told the Palestinian news agency (Wafa) that Israeli warplanes carried out intensive airstrikes on homes and shelters for displaced persons, murdering and injuring dozens of Palestinian civilians.
In Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, the IOF targeted and bombed a house in the Sheikh Nasser area, murdering a child and two women among four civilians.
Earlier, an Israeli helicopter targeted a tent sheltering displaced civilians in Deir Al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, taking the life of three civilians and wounding several children.
Civil defense teams pulled out the bodies of six martyrs from under the rubble who were murdered by an IOF airstrike that targeted a gathering of civilians in Al-Sudaniya area, northwest of Gaza City.
Wafa reported that the IOF targeted Al-Nazla neighbourhood in Jabalia with heavy artillery, aerial and naval bombardments, causing extensive damage to homes and buildings, and wounding many civilians, while rescue operations are still ongoing amid a rising number of injuries.
In the northern Gaza Strip, the martyrs toll from Israeli airstrikes on homes near Beit Lahiya square has risen to 19 martyrs, according to medical sources.
The Israeli occupation has been committing a textbook genocide in the Gaza Strip for 390 days, amid an indescribably massive man-made destruction and famine and deafening international silence.
The Gaza Strip and other occupied Palestinian territories experience unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe due to the Israeli brutal, barbaric and heinous aggression and genocide committed against defenseless civilians in the strip and the occupied West Bank.
The ongoing aggression in the Gaza Strip causes horrible health conditions following the persistent, deliberate attacks on medical buildings, hospitals and civil infrastructure, deliberately denying the entry of medical supplies and fuel needed by medical complexes, as well as preventing the access of aid convoys to the Strip in a flagrant violation of the International Humanitarian Law, Geneva Conventions and resolutions of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) amidst paralysis of the international community.
