His Majesty receives President of Algeria

Muscat : An official reception ceremony was held for His Excellency President Abdelmadjid Tebboune,  of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, this morning on the occasion of his "state" visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

Upon the arrival of the car carrying His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and His Excellency the President to the courtyard of Al Alam Palace, His Majesty the Sultan accompanied the President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the podium of honour, where the Algerian national anthem was played, and the artillery fired 21 rounds in salute to His Excellency the guest President.
