Sayyid Badr holds talks with Iranian counterpart over Israeli airstrikes

Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister held a telephone call with Dr. Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Sunday, during which they discussed the latest developments in the region and the Israeli aggression on Iranian sites.

Condemning the Israeli aggression, His Excellency Sayyid Badr expressed the Sultanate of Oman’s rejection of any actions that undermine the sovereignty of countries and the rule of international law threatening the security and stability of the region.

He stressed the importance of strengthening dialogue and diplomatic cooperation among the countries of the region to preserve regional security and prevent tension and escalation.

For his part, Dr. Abbas Araghchi expressed his appreciation for the position of the Sultanate of Oman, praising the diplomatic efforts it is making to achieve peace and harmony in the region.

The foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran stressed the need to enhance joint cooperation to prevent the expansion of conflicts and intensify cooperation to address the causes of disputes in the region.
