Sayyid Theyazin praises contributions of youth in nation building

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth, expressed his admiration for the thought, dedication, and contributions of Omani youth in his speech on the occasion of their annual day, which falls on October 26.

In his speech, Sayyid Theyazin said: "To the loyal builders of Oman— The country’s flowing spring, its radiant lamp, and guardians of its ancient heritage, it pleases us each year on this occasion to congratulate our beloved country for the generous accomplishments and noble deeds you have achieved, of which we proudly speak to other nations, generation after generation. We are grateful for God’s blessings upon this nation in your enlightened thinking and hearts filled with love and dedication, bringing security, peace, generosity, and prosperity to Oman.

"Our brave youth, We appreciate your generous contributions and the positive impact you leave wherever you go. You are the shining light within Omani society, and the country depends on you to channel your energies into its blessed development process in all its dimensions. With trust placed in your hands, we look to you to create a society that is creative and capable, one that employs its values and identity to ensure a decent life for the future generations on this blessed land—a solid society working to make Oman a better place for all. In this stand, we affirm our commitment to supporting your tireless efforts and pursuit of comprehensive development across all the governorates.

"The Pride of Oman, We are pleased, on this Omani Youth Day, to announce our continued commitment to the journey we began with the establishment of the Youth Centre’s main branch. Following our strategic plans, we are expanding into several governorates, with new Youth Centre branches to be established in Al Dakhiliyah, Musandam, and South Al Sharqiyah. This expansion underscores our determination to create spaces and environments that embrace the aspirations of Omani youth from every corner of our nation. Each year, the youth of Oman rise to new heights of glory."
