Muscat: Various regions in Oman are forecast to experience rainfall from Monday, 21 October 2024, to Thursday, 24 October 2024, according to the Oman Meteorology Department.
In a statement, Oman Meteorology indicated that weather models predict the gradual formation of clouds from Monday evening over parts of the Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates, which may lead to scattered showers. From Tuesday to Thursday, further cloud development is expected, with intermittent rain, occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms, likely in these areas. Cumulus cloud activity and scattered thunderstorms are also forecast over the Al Hajar Mountains during this period.
The National Centre for Early Warning of Multiple Hazards is closely monitoring the situation and advises residents to stay updated by following official weather bulletins.
