Muscat: Royal Opera House Muscat proudly celebrates Omani Women’s Day with a special concert honouring the achievements of Omani women across music, art, and society. This annual event recognises their invaluable contributions to community development, nation-building, and the preservation of Omani heritage through folklore, music, and song.
For the 2024/25 season, the opera house will celebrate Omani Women’s Day with a special concert on 17th October at the Royal Opera House of Musical Arts. The event features a remarkable performance by the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra Ladies’ Ensemble, one of the region’s most acclaimed ensembles and a true reflection of Omani women’s artistic excellence.
The ROSO Ladies’ ensemble will be joined by the Al Nour Wal Amal Orchestra, the world’s first blind women’s orchestra from Egypt and Moroccan pianist Nour Ayadi performing a selection from Mozart’s masterpieces.
