Muscat: The Omani-Pakistani Business Forum today discussed opportunities for joint cooperation between the two sides in various economic, health and entrepreneurship fields.
During the forum, the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) presented visual display in which it outlined investment opportunities and incentives offered to investors in those zones.
The forum also touched on opportunities available in Pakistan.
The participants engaged in a discussion panel that elaborated on business prospects and the legal setup supporting investment. In addition, an exhibition was organized to showcase Pakistani products.
Faisal Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), stressed the importance of enhancing joint projects, commercial exchange and investments between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Pakistan. He laid emphasis on projects that support economic diversification.
