Forum on Citizenship and Digital Citizenship to be held at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Al Mussanah

Al Mussanah: Under the patronage of Major General Khalifa Ali Al Siyabi, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and in the presence of H. E Dr. Said Hamad Al Rubaie, Vice Chancellor of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, the "Citizenship and Digital Citizenship in Higher Education Curricula: Sustainable Horizons" forum will be held tomorrow, Monday.

The forum aims to promote the values of citizenship among university students in line with global and regional developments, and enhance their sense of belonging to the nation and community. The forum also seeks to raise awareness of individual social responsibility, foster harmony among different segments of society, promote dialogue, understanding, and acceptance of others, and encourage active participation in various aspects of life—socially, economically, and politically.

The forum will be inaugurated at the university’s branch in Al Mussanah. It will include keynote speeches, workshops, accompanying presentations, a student debate competition, and interactive discussion sessions.
