Muscat: The latest satellite images and analyses from the National Early Warning Center for Multiple Hazards indicate the possibility of the formation of a tropical depression in the southeast of the Arabian Sea, with the possibility to develop into a deep depression over the next two days.
The Civil Aviation Authority said in a report: “The initial forecasts suggest that the tropical system may move westward towards the coasts of Dhofar Governorate and the Gulf of Aden, with a chance of affecting Dhofar, Al Wusta, and South Al Sharqiyah Governorates with cloud advection accompanied by varying intensities of rainfall starting from the night of Monday, October 14, 2024.”
