Bucharest: The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Romania on Monday held the 4th session of political consultations in Bucharest.
The Omani side was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while Traian Laurențiu Hristea, Secretary of State for Global Affairs and Diplomatic Strategies of Romania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed his country’s side.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations in the fields of investment, commercial exchange, education and information technology. They also looked into scopes for opening a direct flight route between Muscat and Bucharest, and exchanged views on various regional and international issues of common interest.
The session was attended by Florin Marius Tacu, Ambassador of the Republic of Romania to the Sultanate of Oman, and a number of officials from both sides.
Various aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries were discussed by Al Harthy and Dan Dragoș Drăgan, Secretary of State in theMinistry of Energy in Romania.
