MUSCAT: Pakistan School Muscat-Seeb branch held the foundation stone laying ceremony for its new Mabelah branch, marking a significant milestone in the school’s expansion and commitment to providing world-class education to the Pakistani community in Oman.
The ceremony was graced by high-ranking officials from both the Pakistani and Omani communities, as well as government representatives from both nations, including Chaudhary Salik Hussain (Federal Minister Overseas Pakistanis and Resource Development, Additional Portfolio: Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony), Dr. Khadija Ali Muhammad Al Salami (Director General of Private Schools – Ministry of Education), His Excellency Imran Ali Chaudry (Pakistan’s Ambassador to Oman), Mohammed Essa Al Zedjali (Chairman, Times of Oman), His Excellency Shaiful Anual Mohammad (Ambassador of Malaysia), His Excellency Muhammet Hekimoğlu (Ambassador of Turkey), Ameer Hamza (Chairman BoDs, Pakistan Schools in Oman), Iftikhar Ahmed (President, School Management Committee), and various representatives of the Pakistan Embassy.
The event underscored the strong bilateral ties between Pakistan and Oman and the shared commitment to fostering educational excellence.
The Mabelah branch, spread across an expansive 8,000 sqm campus, promises to be a beacon of modern education.
The built-up area of 17,376 sqm will house 70 spacious classrooms, equipped with cutting-edge technology and facilities to cater to over 2800 students. The school’s design emphasises sustainability, with solar panels installed on the roof to harness renewable energy.

The Foundation Stone Laying ceremony was marked by a ceremonial laying of the foundation stone by the chief guest, Chaudhary Salik Hussain, accompanied by other dignitaries.
The event concluded with a tour of the construction site, offering a glimpse into the school’s promising future. Pakistan School Seeb has a long-standing reputation for academic excellence and a strong sense of community.
