Muscat: Rainfall of varying intensity is expected in Al Hajar Mountains and neighbouring areas from Sunday, October 6 to Wednesday, October 9, 2024, said the Civil Aviation Authority(CAA).
The Civil Aviation Authority said: “The latest weather maps and numerical forecasts indicate chances of cumulus cloud activity and rainfall of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms, and active descending winds during the afternoon and evening in Al Hajar Mountains and the surrounding areas, which may lead to the flow of valleys and ravines.”
Specialists at the National Center for Early Warning of Multiple Hazards are following up on the expected weather conditions and their developments. The centre calls on citizens and residents to follow the issued bulletins and reports.
