Muscat: Takatuf Petrofac Oman (TPO) announced that 23 students from Salalah Methanol Company (SMC) have successfully completed their 12-month intensive foundation and technical training course.

TPO honoured them by presenting certificates to the high achievers and the 100 per cent attendance holders of the programme. Several SMC trainees received certificates for high achievement in Technical English, Technical Mathematics and Health & Safety.

Glenn Harding, General Manager at TPO, commented that, "It is with great pleasure that we acknowledge the successful course completion of the 23 SMC trainees. We are confident that this is the first of many groups of trainees that will go on to achieve outstanding results at TPO.”

TPO’s first official graduation ceremony will be held later this year and will include the 23 SMC trainees.Successful graduates will receive certificates from the Ministry of Manpower / National Training Fundin addition to awards from City and Guilds, the UK-based global leader in vocational skills and development.
