MUSCAT: A three-day leadership training course, jointly organised by The Art of Living Oman and TLEX Institute of Switzerland, successfully concluded at Hotel InterContinental Muscat on Wednesday.
The course was led by world-renowned expert, Christoph Glaser, who was the guest speaker. The programme was attended by local Omani men and women executives and leaders along with a sizeable number of expatriate professionals.
The workshop highlighted topics like health and happiness, emotional intelligence, business and personal excellence and meditation and mind management. Titled “Self Leadership in an Agile World”, Glaser talked about today’s dynamic environment, and effective leadership that is needed to manage uncertainties, and perform under pressure.
Glaser has over 25 years of management experience in various business organisations and is serving as CEO of TLEX Europe and managing director at the World Forum for Ethics in Business.
He holds a master’s degree in Public Policy from the Humboldt-Viadrina School of Governance in Berlin and graduated with honours from the Business School Basel.
A certified Leadership trainer for the World Bank Group’s ‘Greater than Leadership’ programme, Glaser has led leadership programmes across world in over 50 countries.
During the three-day course, Glaser spoke at length on mindfulness and its necessity in today’s times through breath-based techniques.
