Muscat: The North Al Batinah Police Command arrested two people for committing a crime. One of them used a sharp instrument to stab some camels in one of the farms in the Wilayat of Saham, which led to their death.
The Royal Oman Police said: “This was due to personal disputes between the camel owner and the other accused. Legal procedures are being completed against them.”
In another incident, four people were arrested by the police for committing theft and fraud crimes.
The Royal Oman Police said: “North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command arrested two Asian nationals for defrauding a group of workers in commercial stores by distracting them and making them believe that they would hand them high-value banknotes and requesting the return to the remaining amount.”
