Muscat: The Embassy of Pakistan in Oman, recently organised an event to pay tribute to the defenders and martyrs of Pakistan.
The gathering saw the presence of dignitaries from Officers from Oman Ministry of Defence, Officers from Sultan Armed Forces of Oman, Ambassadors of friendly countries, representatives from various ministries, Military/ Defence Attaches, numerous locals Omani notables, and Pakistani Community members.
Tribute to the ghazis and martyrs was offered through the traces of the historical journey of Pakistan starting from its inception in 1947.
Pakistan’s continuous efforts in promoting global peace and collaboration with other countries like Sultanate of Oman were also asserted.
The defence and security relations between Pakistan and Oman armed forces were also amply highlighted as the defence cooperation between two nations is a key factor in strengthening this bond and promoting regional peace and stability.
It was also stressed to continue to partnership and work together in economic and business connectivity.
The entire programme was a memorable homage to the bravery and sacrifices of Pakistan’s defenders and martyrs, underscoring the strong bonds between the Pakistani and Omani communities.
