Inspection campaign conducted to combat street vendors in Dhofar; 150 expats arrested

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour (Mol) has arrested more than 100 expats to combat street vendors and random selling practices.

Mol said in a statement: "The Ministry of Labour, represented by the General Directorate of Labour in Dhofar Governorate, in cooperation with the police command in the governorate, carried out an inspection campaign to combat street vendors and random selling practiced by expat workers in the central Salalah region. 150 workers were arrested, and legal measures are being taken against them."
