Muscat: Oman Customs has foiled an attempt to smuggle 2.07 kilograms of marijuana into the Sultanate of Oman.
A statement issued online by Oman Customs said :"The General Administration of Customs thwarted an attempt to smuggle 2.07 kilograms of marijuana, which was hidden in a postal parcel. The necessary legal measures are currently being taken."
Five arrested for stealing batteries from several vehicles and trucks
In another incident North Al Batinah Police Command arrested five expats for stealing batteries from several vehicles and trucks belonging to a company.
Legal procedures are being completed against them.
