Oman airspace safe, being monitored: PACA

Muscat: The current air traffic situation in the region has not affected Oman’s airspace which continues to remain safe, the government said on Friday.

The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA), issued a statement confirming that it is continuously monitoring the air traffic situation in northern Oman.

“The Air Traffic Emergency Management Team at the Authority is following developments on air traffic in the Omani airspace, which is proceeding normally in the light of events affecting some flight routes to the north,” the statement said.

“The Authority is ready to take all measures to ensure the safety of air traffic in the Omani airspace,” PACA added.
