Oman Vision 2040 Follow-up Unit holds meeting for GED outstanding students

Muscat: Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit today held a meeting in Muscat with a group of parents and outstanding students who excelled in the General Education Diploma (GED) exams during School Year 2023-2024. The meeting aimed at encouraging the young people to develop their potential so that they could become future leaders in different sectors.

In his speech at the meeting, Sayyid Dr. Munthir Hilal Al Busaidi, Deputy Chairman of Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, stressed the need to lend support to outstanding students to enable them to maintain their high performance during the university stage, in all fields of science and knowledge.

The meeting outlined salient features of Oman Vision 2040 and its national priorities, with special focus on education, citizenship, identity, heritage and national culture.

A group of inspiring young people who graduated earlier showcased their experience (during the university stage) to motivate the newcomers ahead of their graduate and postgraduate educational march.
