DBBS appeals for urgent blood donation amid shortage

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS), has made an urgent appeal to people with A(-ve) to donate blood today at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.

Due to critically low blood supplies, they're urging eligible individuals to donate blood today at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.

Donation Details:

Location: Central Blood Bank in Baushar, Muscat

Hours: Saturday to Thursday: 8 AM to 8 PM, Friday: 8 AM to 2 PM

DBBS said in a statement :"We are still in dire need of blood donors with blood type A-, as the stock of this type is only enough for one day. We renew our appeal to those with this type to hurry up and donate blood today at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar."
