Muscat: At the Behest of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs received in his office at Al Murtafaa Garrison today Andreas Nicolaides, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the Sultanate of Oman to bid him farewell at the end of his tour of duty.
HH Sayyid Shihab thanked the ambassador for the efforts he exerted to enhance relations between Oman and Cyprus, wishing him success in his future assignments.
In his turn, the ambassador lauded the advanced relations binding the two countries. He expressed his appreciation for the cooperation he received during his mission in Oman.
