Person arrested attempting to smuggle khat in Oman

Muscat : The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested a person while he was attempting to smuggle more than 250 bundles of khat in his vehicle in Dhofar Governorate.

ROP said in a statement :"Dhofar Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the Special Tasks Police Unit in Salalah, arrests a person while attempting to smuggle more than 250 bundles of khat in his vehicle. Legal procedures are being completed against him."
