Muscat: Muscat Municipality has introduced a convenient online platform for companies and institutions to obtain or renew public parking reservations. This digital service aims to streamline the process and enhance efficiency.
To apply for the service the companies and institutions should submit a list of required documents and instruments as follows:
- A titled request letter to the Parking Management Department of Muscat Municipality stating the location, parking places' number, and period.
- The commercial register.
- A copy of the title deed and area drawing.
- A no Impediment letter from building owner and identity card of the building owner.
Renewal fees for public parking reservations vary based on location:-
Areas with parking fees: OMR 50 per parking space per month
Areas without parking fees: OMR 30 per parking space per month
By digitising this process, Muscat Municipality is aiming to reduce paperwork, expedite approvals, and improve overall service delivery to businesses and organisations operating in the city.
