One arrested for hunting Arabian gazelle in Dhofar

Muscat: A citizen was arrested for hunting an Arabian gazelle in the Wilayat of Thumrait, Dhofar Governorate.

Environment Authority (EA) said in a statement :"The Environment Authority in Dhofar Governorate was able to arrest a citizen who violated wildlife by hunting an Arabian gazelle in the Wilayat of Thumrait. Legal procedures are being completed."

The Authority calls on everyone to cooperate in order to preserve and protect wildlife, and to adhere to environmental laws and legislation to avoid legal accountability.
