Namma enhances water security and ensures sustainability in Oman

Muscat: Strengthening the water transfer system between governorates and developing the interconnection to ensure water supply service and flexibility of operations

The implementation works for the project to enhance the water system between Barka and Sohar desalination plants have been completed at a total cost of 86 million Omani Riyals

A new water pipeline with a total length of (173) kilometers for the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, starting from the main pumping station in Al Khoudh in the Wilayat of Al-Seeb, passing through the Wilayats of Al Dakhiliyah Governorate

Water transmission line project from South Al Sharqiyah to North of Al Sharqiyah

-Pipelines with a length of 312 km

-At a cost of 125 million Omani Riyals

 -4 new pumping stations and strengthening 3 existing stations

 -(17) water tanks along the transmission line with a total storage capacity of up to (265) thousand cubic meters

Al Seeb Long Term Water Solutions Project

-At a cost of 45 million Omani Riyals

-The completion rate is 46%

-The project is expected to be completed in the last quarter of 2025

-It includes strategic reservoirs in Al Khoudh 6, Al Rusayl, and Al Khoudh Village

-Contribution by small and medium enterprises, whose total work in the project amounted to three million Omani Riyals.
