ROP arrests 27 across Oman

Muscat: The police guard in the Sultanate of Oman managed to arrest 27 people for committing different crimes in Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah south Al Sharqiyah.

Royal Oman Police said: "Muscat Governorate Police Command arrested two Asian nationals for vandalism and theft of jewellery, electronic devices, sums of money and personal belongings from several homes in the Wilayats of Bousher and Al Amerat.

In another stealing crime, South Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police arrested 8 people for stealing a large number of refrigerant gas cylinders used to fill air conditioning units."

The General Department for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, in cooperation with the Coast Guard Police Command, arrested (3) persons of Asian nationality while they were smuggling more than 30 kilograms of hashish, 19 kilograms of marijuana, and 8 kilograms of crystal meth. Legal procedures are being completed.

Al Dakhiliyah Governorate Police Command arrests 14 Asians for gambling in Izki. ROP added, The legal procedures against the accused are in process of completion.
