Muscat: Oman Airports has announced changes to its passenger boarding system (PBS) at Muscat International Airport, effective August 4th.
Passengers must now report to the electronic boarding gates at least 40 minutes before their flight departure time, and access to boarding gates will be restricted after the 40-minute mark.
Check-in procedures remain unchanged and will still close 60 minutes before flight departure.
Oman Air has emphasised the importance of arriving at the boarding gates on time to ensure a smooth travel experience.
Oman Air said in a statement: "Dear valued guests, due to updates in the Passenger Boarding System (PBS) at Muscat International Airport, starting August 4th, guests are kindly requested to report to the electronic boarding gates at least 40 minutes prior to your flight departure time to ensure a smooth travel experience. Please note that access to the boarding gates will be restricted after this time. Our check-in procedures will remain unchanged and will close 60 minutes before flight departure time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation."
