Campaign begins to plant four million mangrove seeds in North Al Batinah

Muscat: The Environment Authority (EA) has begun implementing a campaign to plant 4 million mangrove seeds in North Al Batinah Governorate and Al Wusta Governorate.

The Environment Authority has begun implementing a campaign to plant 4 million mangrove seeds in Khor Shinas in North Al Batinah Governorate and Khor Ghawi in Al Wusta Governorate. The campaign will last for 14 days.

The campaign coincides with the International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem and is part of the national initiative to plant 10 million trees.
