Expats arrested with counterfeit currency worth OMR 10,000 in North Al Batinah

Muscat: Four expatriates have been arrested for deceiving a citizen and exchanging counterfeit foreign currencies worth OMR 10,000 in North Al Batinah, said the Royal Oman Police (ROP).

North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command arrested four people of Arab nationality for possessing counterfeit foreign currencies in large denominations and defrauding a citizen by enticing him to exchange these currencies for an amount of OMR 10,000. The legal procedures were completed against them.
