Muscat: Khalid bin Hashel Al Musalhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashel Al Maskari, Head of the Department of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and the Regional Neighbourhood, offered condolences to Ambassador Mohammed Imran Ali Chaudhry, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and Amit Narang, Ambassador of the Republic of India, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.
During the two meetings, they expressed their sincere condolences and sympathy for the death of members of the Pakistani and Indian communities in the shooting incident in Wadi Al Kabir in Muscat Governorate.
They wished speedy recovery for the injured, stressing the Sultanate of Oman’s sympathy and support for the families affected by this horrific incident.
The ambassadors of the two friendly countries praised the measures taken by the Omani authorities to contain the situation and confront the aggressors, which reduced the loss of lives. They thanked and appreciated the Omani officials for the medical care that the injured are receiving in the hospitals of the Sultanate of Oman.
They expressed their sincere condolences on the martyrdom of a security man and their wishes for a speedy recovery for all those injured, stressing their countries’ full solidarity with the Sultanate of Oman and support for the measures taken to maintain the security in the country.
