Oman crime: Drug smuggler arrested in Seeb

Muscat: A drug smuggler was arrested in Seeb after entering the Sultanate illegally in possession of a huge amount of drugs. An reliable source at Royal Oman Police ROP said that The General Department for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances arrested the drug smuggler after he entered the Sultanate illegally on a boat used for smuggling drugs. The accused was arrested in possession of 11,990 psychotropic pills, 52 capsules of morphine and hashish. The accused was referred to the public prosecutor for further legal actions.
