Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister and Fuad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Iraq on Wednesday reviewed, in a phone call, the growing relations between the two countries.
They also touched on some developments and underlined the two countries’ consistent visions that back all means of maintaining regional and global security, stability and peace.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Iraq expressed the solidarity of his country with Oman in regard to the shooting incident that took place in the vicinity of a Mosque in Al Wadi Al Kabir area, Muscat Governorate. He also extended Iraq’s condolences over the demise of some civilians and the martyrdom of a police serviceman.
Meanwhile, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister also received a phone call from Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The Jordanian official expressed his country’s solidarity with Oman on the shooting incident which took place in Al Wadi Al Kabir area. He also extended his country’s condolences to Oman on the demise of some civilians and the martyrdom of a police serviceman.
During the call, the two ministers underscored the distinguished relations between Oman and Jordan. They also underlined the ongoing fruitful cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
