Amsterdam: Represented by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, the Sultanate of Oman participated in a symposium on hydrogen that was held in the city of Amsterdam.
In his speech during the symposium, Eng. Salim Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, showcased Oman’s strategy for the green hydrogen sector.
He outlined the important steps Oman took to establish a competitive and sustainable hydrogen economy.
In this context, Al Aufi stressed the significance of consolidating international cooperation to develop trade corridors of hydrogen and its derivatives.
The delegation of the Sultanate of Oman that took part in the symposium held meetings with different establishments, including the Port of Amsterdam and companies operating in the transportation of hydrogen.
The meetings were aimed at enhancing the existing partnership between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the energy and logistics sectors, notably the transportation of liquid hydrogen.
