OOC organises Advanced Sports Management course

Muscat: The 4th semester of the Advanced Sports Management course organised by Oman Olympic Academy in coordination with Oman Olympic Solidarity Committee began on Tuesday morning and will continue until next Thursday.

Hisham bin Salim Al Adwani, a lecturer recognized by the International Olympic Committee, presented on the first day of the course a profile about how to put in place and develop a financial plan in line with the strategy of the Olympic organisation.

This semester will discuss management of financial affairs within sports and Olympic organisations, budgeting, control of financial plans and reporting on financial performance.

More than 20 students from the sports associations and committees are taking part in this course.
