New drive launched to plant 30,000 mangrove seedlings

Muscat: Environment Authority begins implementing a campaign to plant 30,000 mangrove seedlings in Khor Ghawi in the Wilayat of Al Jazar.

The Authority said: "This come in order to enhance the efficiency of the ecosystem of the Khor region and contribute to absorbing carbon dioxide suspended in the air. ‎The campaign will continue for 6 days in cooperation between the authority’s employees and the local community.”
