Khasab: Musandam Governor’s Office on Wednesday signed a number of agreements to establish and develop several social and development projects in the governorate.
The agreements were signed with Eshraqa, a leading development institution in social responsibility activities. Further, the projects will cover the fields of education, health, sports and social development.
The signing ceremony was held under the auspices of Sayyid Ibrahim Said Al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam.
Mubarak bin Ali Al Rahbi, Head of the Musandam Governor’s Office, said: “The agreements aim to support the education sector in the governorate, and include: preparing a sports field in a school in Lima, equipping a multi-purpose hall for Musandam Basic Education School, providing a number of interactive screens for all schools in the Wilayats of Khasab and Madha, in addition to providing a mobile electronic display screen to serve educational activities and events at the Education Directorate in Musandam Governorate.”
He added: An agreement was also signed to support the health sector, which includes providing 97 multi-purpose medical devices distributed across 6 health units, namely Khasab Hospital, Bukha Hospital, Dibba Hospital, Khasab Health Complex, Lima Health Centre, and Kumzar Health Centre.
In the social sector, an agreement was signed to support Al Wafa Centre for the Rehabilitation of People with Disabilities in the Wilayat of Khasab, which includes equipping a sensory room equipped with the latest technologies to facilitate the treatment process and provide an interactive environment for children suffering from autism.
